GREENHAM COMMON PEACE CAMP 1984
RALLY Yellow Gate
G.C.1
9 am: The women were expecting to be evicted today - it was in early April -
and had attracted supporters from all over the country as well as radio and
TV crews. There was a festive Spring spirit in the air - there was even a disco
in the bus shelter! The Bailiffs failed to appear and through the afternoon
people gradually drifted away.
